Overview

The SUE-4E (NATE reporting name; Pigpen-E, E is for Export) is the celestial Empire license-built and export variant of the Socket Onion SUE-3 fighter bomber. Originally introduced in 1944 and operated in 1945, the Celestial variant was introduced later in mid 1945 and would entering service in mid 1946.

History

Soseph Jalin had originally given the contract the Mecomet-Gooyenwish's MeG-1, but ended up prioritizing the SUE-3 more, it was made to hold its own in a dogfight, but mainly to demolish everything on the ground.

In mid 1945, Celestial Empire Hongchang Aircraft Manufacturing Corporation signed a contract with Socket Onion to built a license-copy and export variant of the SUE-3 fighter bomber. The first introduced aircraft was displayed in August 17, 1945. The aircraft was expected to be mass produced and entering service in People's Empire Liberation Army Air Force in 1946.

The Celestial Empire's license-copy and export variant, designated as SUE-4C features the Celestial specs. As with the SUE-3, it features an updated avionics and added the airbrakes, making the flight and landing even more comfortable compared from the original variant, and a slight tweak with the rear landing gear. In addition, it is equipped with original Celestial Empire improvement making it the favorable aircraft for critical air support.
