@ThatKindaWeeb Hmmm... A lot of the way I build comes from how I used to build back then but I can offer a couple guidelines:
    - I don't do canopy lines because A) laziness and B) I'm going for a simplistic look
    - I use default wings for the same reason
    - A trick for default wings is to resize it to 1,.5,.5 (or smaller) to get it more precise; just remember the game calculates its lift as if it were normal size, so don't resize too small or else you get too much lift
    - If wings are EXTRA THICC, I use fuselage and angled default wings
    - I used to use default landing gear but now I use custom
    - I use blueprints and go for 1:1 scale, although I'm not focused on 100% correct dimensions
    - I only use smoothing on "glass" and nosecones because 'i'm weird'
    - I use default parts as details to save parts (i.e. my launch rails are resized pylons, I use default airbrakes sometimes)
    - I put hidden airbrakes that use |Gforce| (|Pitch| on older planes) so they don't turn at 1000 km/h.
    - Fuselage cones are your best friend (You can paint 2 colors and adjust size of color)
    - If elevators are a weird shape, I use a custom control surface made of default wings (Most WW2 planes)
    - For asymmetrical features (i.e. offset gun), I set drag and mass to 0 so the plane doesn't roll on its own (Not always perfect)
Protip: 1 SP fuselage unit = 2 meters

    Good luck!

@UltraLight @EngineerOtaku that's interesting. I just assumed it had something to do with g force because the inlets move down when the plane turns.

@ReinMcDeer yeah, if you think about it it makes sense. At high AoA that up Inlet is like a giant drag paddle in the air. Lowering it allows for more efficient turns and more efficient airflow collection.

Like on takeoff, that isnt typically including high-g pulls, but the inlets go down because you need max power to climb those first few hundred feet(the most dangerous altitude) quickly. You have a high AoA just after rotation because: low speeds + high desired rate of climb + high power = high AoA
