History
M43E 'Covenant', or Covenant MBT or just Covenant was a Main Battle Tank developed by CSN (Confederation Of Southern Nations) as a preparation for possible Obelia Empire's Invasion. CSN believe Obelia's main motives to strengthen their army is to expand their nations, not only defeating the rebels.
Covenant developed by more than 10 countries, but most project developed by Atlana Republic, since they were richest nation in CSN. Tank hull and turret developed by Atlana Weapon Industry, with help from other nations. And tank's equipment (including main gun) manufactured by ConRAD (Confederation Research And Development). 2 Prototype were built, one with Atlana Industry's turret, and one with ConRAD turret. After various test, the one with Atlana Industry's turret far more superior than ConRAD's turret in many aspect.
After few days, Confederation decided to produce 300 tanks as before produced massively. These tanks will tested in battle against rebels and insurgents.
Covenant Tank never went to battle, but CNS decided to produce 300 Covenants before massively produce it and replace their old MBT.

Specification
General
Covenant weighted about 70 tons with speed about 68km/h. It has cruising range about 600km with fuel capacity about 1600L. Covenant use a new developed composite armor with more durability than older one. Covenant also use a hydropneumatic suspension for smoother ride and extra elevation for gun.

Crews
Covenant only operated by three crews, 2 in the hull and 1 in the turret. Driver located on the right part of the hull, and Commander located on the left part of the hull while the Gunner located on the left part of the turret. And gun loading done by autoloading mechanism
Driver has a rotatable camera to look their surrounding, Gunner have one periscope near the hatch, and Commander has few cameras around the tank.

Autoloading Mechanism
Autoloading mechanism consist 2 parts, ammo selecting mechanism, and loading arm mechanism. Ammo selecting mechanism located on the back, and loading arm mechanism located on the right part of the turret.
Ammo stored on back of the turret with ammo selecting mechanism, when loading a gun, the selected ammo will loaded into a loading arm, and the loading arm load the ammo to the gun, after that loading arm can be loaded with another ammo, giving a capabilities to load the next ammo faster.

Equipment And Armanent

M43 Covenant test its powerfull 130mm cannon

Covenant equiped with up-to-date equipment, advanced sensors, aiming, and protection system. It also use Hydropneumatic Suspension.
Covenant use Enchanched 130mm Smoothbore Cannon, this Cannon slightly more powerfull than Empire's Enchanched 125mm Cannon. This cannon was very accurate and effective, it has maximum firing range about 3500m with velocity almost 2000m/s. But this power also followed with a powerfull recoil. To reduce this, Covenant use powerfull springs and hydraulics to reduce the recoil, muzzle brake also added to reduce the recoil. For secondary armanent, Covenant use a rapid firing 7.62mm Coaxial Machine Gun and two 20mm Autocannons placed on a remote control weapon platform. For defense system, Covenant copy Imperial's defense system, with slight modification and advancement. Confederation's Covenant MBT's ERA also different from Imperial's ERA, this ERA is more advanced at effective. This ERA can protect the tank crew from most threat from enemy, from HE Ammunitions to ATGMs. This ERA offer maximum protection for the crews inside. Lower glacis also made smaller and reinforced with steel plate.
The turret has extreme angle for protection, it also used a spaced armor to maximize the protection to gunner, loading arm and ammo rack.
