I’m not especially fond of this build, but I guess we’ll see what you guys think about it.
The Amphiplane is meant to feel as comfortable in the water as it is in the air. Just fold the wings back, throttle up and go! It floats and turns without the aid of a gyro. It doesn’t turn all that fast... but still. Also, it doesn’t like taking off from the water all that much, so make sure you raise the landing gear and use full flaps and pull back on the stick a lot to get airborne. Taking off from land is a breeze. This thing isn’t especially pretty, and I didn’t add full detail, I guess cause I want to see what you guys think... it could probably use some adjustments but I dunno.
Flight controls are standard.

Just a suggestion make the wings inverted gull or normal but retrac upside down
And a bit of back sweep and taper to bring the com lower

Hmm, yeah. I can’t decide what to do about the prop... I folded the wings that way cause the idea is you can drive around like a boat without that whole pesky “taking off” thing haha. If I told the wings up, it’ll have too high of a center of mass when they’re folded and wouldn’t be able to speed around on the water. But you guys are definitely right about the tail being too big and the lg being too small, I’m working on those bits.

Honest feedback: I agree with @Chancey21 that the tail is too large and the prop is too small and the LG
The wings that fold back are cool but not a necessity which I guess is why the prop is so small
Like I said the cockpit is great
Gull wings would let you have a larger prop
them curves tho
Oh, and one more thing: I may need your help getting the scale of this plane right (if you’re willing) since I seem to have so much trouble with that... but I’ll make the other changes/improvements first and then I’ll take a crack at it before I ask you again @Chancey21

One thing I was planning on doing was making custom landing gear, but I have never built custom retractable landing gear. How do you get the wheel to pass through/into the fuselage part? Do you just disable aircraft collisions on both parts? @Chancey21
Nice!!! Yeah this is based on the A5 but the shapes were too complicated for my poor little brain to approximate hahah. So I just built something after the same fashion. Martin Icon will be awesome I can’t wait to see it!!! Don’t forget to tag me when you’ve got something built! :) :) @Chancey21
It would take me hours to list the pros of this plane so I’ll kust do the cons, easier to improve upon:
Looks like pee color
Big tail; small plane
Wobbly rotators (DamperMultiplier=100 will fix)
Scale is off
Wheels are microscopic
Prop should have bigger diameter and three blades max
Inlet is straight ugly
Love the cockpit, and wing flex
Beautiful plane 9/10
