T-55M

The T-54 and T-55 tanks are a series of Soviet main battle tanks introduced just as the Second World War ended. The first T-54 prototype appeared in March of 1945 and entered full production in 1947. It became the main tank for armoured units of the Soviet Army, armies of the Warsaw Pact countries, and many others. T-54s and T-55s have been involved in many of the world's armed conflicts since the later part of the 20th century.

The T-54/55 series eventually became the most-produced tank in military history. Estimated production numbers for the series range from 86,000 to 100,000. They were replaced by the T-62, T-64, T-72, T-80 and T-90 tanks in the Soviet and Russian armies, but remain in use by up to 50 other armies worldwide, some having received sophisticated retrofitting.

During the Cold War, Soviet tanks never directly faced their NATO adversaries in combat in Europe. However, the T-54/55's first appearance in the West around the period of the 1950s (then the beginning of the Cold War) spurred the United Kingdom to develop a new tank gun, the Royal Ordnance L7, and the United States to develop the M60 Patton.

The T-55 M was a minor upgrade to the T-55 A. It featured exhaust pipes which were placed on the sides, new thermal night vision sights and an improved 600 hp V-55/M engine.

W, A, S and D to move around (it's very quick, so be careful when turning)
Spacebar to fire the gun.
AG 1 for the big spotlight on the turret.
AG 2 for the little purple light on the hull front.
AG 3 for hull lights (both on the back and on the front).
The gun shoots a 100 mm shell at 895 m/s velocity which can destroy bridges and, probably, vehicles too. It shoots every 7.38 seconds (essentially, I copy-pasted the gun stats from T 55A in WoT).

Now guys, I'm not so sure whether to reupload some of my very old builds but in refined quality or scrap them and build totally new ones. I've still got almost all of my old builds and it's really hard to not upload some of them (especially those that were built close to my long break).

I see. We have given it a 105mm cannon and a 700hp engine. The TD role has been taken over by wheeled armored cars.

Also, we found that both machines cost just as much to operate, but the T-55 has better armor and firepower than the Walker Bulldog.

In the RP, it is generally considered obsolete, but is still viable with upgrades. @PhantomBladeCorp

@Pilotmario Well then, it's a rather slow light. At 50 kph it won't do very well compared to tanks like the Bulldog or Sheridan which are specifically made for reconnaisance. It could work as a replacement for MBT's if upgraded. As for recon, you'd have to trim a lot of armour in order to make it an effective scouting tank. Plus, the Bulldog can be used both as a tank destroyer and a scout tank, thus another reason to upgrade these captured T-55s and T-54s by placing ERA and mounting 105mm guns on them.
Then again, as you've already said, it is cramped. Honestly, I'd melt them or replace their turrets. The bowl-shaped turret is notorious for it's faulty frontal armour and the back-mounted ammorack. One shot to the back and the tank becomes a campfire.

    @PhantomBladeCorp lol

It's considered a light tank in the Paternian Army because of how it's used than its technical characteristics.

Light tanks are used for force economy and reconnaissance.

@Pilotmario It's a medium tank actually. In order to make it a light, you'll have to place a more powerful engine on it.
This one weighs around 38 tonnes and is powered by a 600 hp engine, so not exactly a light tank.
But, if you compare it to something like the Awful Panther, then we can say it's a super light tank ;)

Perfect! I need this for my next build: T-55P!

Basically a T-55 in Paternian Army service. We captured a bunch of them from a nation we obliterated from the face of the earth.

Reconfigured for Paternian controls and 105mm M68 cannon, it is often used as a training vehicle, although it does see use as a heavily-armored 35-ton light tank.

It's popularity is mixed. In light tank battalions, it is valued for its vastly superior armor and firepower compared to the M41(90) Walker Bulldog they previously used. In main battle tank battalions, it is derided for its cramped interior. It should be noted that light tank crews are typically 5'4" and 120lbs, or 1.63m and 54.4 kg, where main battle tank crews are typically 5'8" and 185lbs, or 1.73m and 83.9 kg.

@BogdanX So, what do you think about it, мастер?
The tank itself took about 4 hours to make. The turret, however, took me about 2 days. At first I considered a turret similar to that on the T-44 and a suspension similar to the one found on the LTTB, but it was looking too ugly. The shape of the T-55 turret is really hard to get. This one is close to it, but it's still missing some key aspects found on the real-life T-55.
