@dabestsock Actually, the MiG-15's reporting name is the Russian/French/Spanish word for Bassoon, only seperate from the F Slur in pronunciation and spelling (one G instead of two)
It's also a Russian term for a bundle of sticks used as fuel
While you're not completely incorrect in terms of appearance, the MiG-15 arguably more closely resembles a really wacko cigar, so NATO would be letting that one rip
@LunarEclipseSP like I said above, also the name when NATO designated it was entirely based off of looks
    And finally
@WilosIndomie I assume you're from Britain or another nation that utilizes it as a slang term for Cigarettes, though not many other nations use that term as it is more commonly seen as a slur towards the LGBTQ+ community, so while you aren't really in the wrong for it, just recognize the cultural difference of the site
Also, while I'm at it, use of the terms are really iffy pretty much anywhere but they commonly end up being an excuse someone will use to just say the actual term (which, needing an excuse screams insecurity) and as such, it's just really recommended that you stay away from using the term, much like you'd stray away from terms that sound similar to the N word

@SchmooveBrain I don't think I ever realized it but the name mig-15 is because it looks like cigarette

@WilosIndomie sure, but without any provided context it looks like a slur.
    .
@LunarEclipseSP yup I'm very well aware of the MiG-15's NATO reporting name, but as this craft is fictional and not actually a MiG-15 it's not for historical accuracy.

I have edited the name of this post as because this is a fictional plane, the name had the appearance of containing a slur.
