The M108A1 Jeep, formally the Truck, Utility, 1/4 ton, 4x4 M108A1, is a Paternian light utility vehicle developed in the 1950's. While replaced in frontline service by the HMMWV series in the 1980's, it remains in use by specialist units due to its small size. The M108A1 is an improved variant of the earlier M108, with superior suspension and a larger engine. The versatile vehicles would see extensive service across many operators, who valued the light and powerful vehicles for their versatility. Variants included armed examples equipped with 106mm recoilless rifles and TOW missiles in addition to command and ambulance variants. This particular example belongs to the Paternian Marine Corps, and is armed with an M2HB machine gun.
