Details of Su-30

Su-30 ( NATO reporting name : "Flanker-C" ) is a fighter multifunction developed by aerospace company Sukhoi of Russia and put into operation in 1996 . It is a supersonic speed multi-role fighter that can handle both air superiority and attack missions (ground attack, sea surface).

This is a modernized version of the Su-27UB and there are several other versions available. The Su-30K and Su-30MK series both have commercial successes. The difference in the name is due to the versions produced by two competing subsidiaries - KnAAPO and Irkut , both under the control of the Sukhoi Group . KnAAPO produces Su-30MKK and Su-30MK2, which are designed and sold to China and Vietnam . Irkut produces the multi-functional long-range Su-30MK series, which includes the Su-30MKI , a model aircraft developed for the Indian Air Force and designs from the Su-30MKI, such as the Su-30MKM, and the Su-30MKA. are exported exclusivelyMalaysia , Algeria.
