Jagdpanzer E-100

The Jagdpanzer E-100 was an experimental tank destroyer project designed by Nazi Germany in the final stages of World War II, but never reached production. Planned as part of the "E-Series" (Entwicklung – Development) program, it was part of the German army's goal to simplify logistics and use standard chassis. Intended to be built on the E-100 heavy tank chassis, the Jagdpanzer E-100 was planned to be equipped with extremely high-caliber guns such as 17 cm or 15 cm. The aim was to develop a land weapon capable of neutralizing Allied heavy armored vehicles from very long ranges. However, due to the end of the war, lack of resources, and the collapse of German industrial infrastructure, the Jagdpanzer E-100 remained only a project on paper and became one of the symbols of the German "Wunderwaffe" (miracle weapon) concept.
