Aria Aj2 'Duke'

3,291 SwanBee  5.4 years ago

The Aj2-1 'Duke' is marketed as Aria's first successful business jet aircraft- and their most popular aircraft thus far. Keen among small businesses and air-taxi services, the light-class jet comfortably seats up to 12 passengers and can cruise between 300-400 mph. While not striking in appearance, customers say it gets the job done in a stellar and timely fashion. As well as this, Aria is using their new aircraft labeling system, stated to be more convenient.

Controls/pointers:

The plane controls with normal SP controls, VTOL flaps, 1 for lights, nothing new here; the usual. However, it does have custom landing gear, yay! But be careful, since it is my first, it's a little fragile. However, I do see this as an opportunity to treat it like a "real plane"; I'm fairly certain you don't want to plow landing gear into the ground in real life ._.

Side Notes:

Yay, my first business jet! I've wanted to build one of these for a loong time. Well, here it is =)

It's a very good plane. Simple and low part count but it looks awesome, and I think you did a great job on the landing gear!

Great build! Landing gear is good, and handling is alright assuming smooth inputs on the user's part. And the overall shape is very beautiful! Great job!

Do you mind if I use some of your building techniques for the nose for a build I'm working on and planning to release as celebration for reaching silver? I've always wanted to know how to make a realistic-looking nose. If you'd like, I'll make sure to tag you when it's finished.

I love how, like you said, this plane forces you to be realistic and not pancake onto the runway!
