FT-65 Quimera

3,636 JPerero  4.5 years ago

DESCRITION
The FT - 65 Quimera takes some characteristics of the experimental light fighter FW - 40 Saeta. However, for this one a wing design was used in delta configuration, which allows it to handle larger payloads, as proved by its predecessor the FT - 55 Polilla. Although born as a long-range bomber fighter, the FT - 65 has features that allow it to adapt to multiple combat scenarios.
Its refined aerodynamics and compact but powerful turbines allow the FT-65 to reach speeds greater than MAT 2 for long periods of time without compromising its payload, maneuverability, or increasing fuel consumption.
Its ventral bay is equipped with a rotating launch system, which allows it to store a variety of bombs and missiles and deploy them in a few seconds. In addition, its 4 lateral bays are ready to store a wide range of missiles, which together with two miniguns machine guns, make this aircraft a very dangerous fighter.
The FT - 65 is provided with a fully functional internal structure, which includes air ducts, turbines, gates, weapons system, countermeasures and cockpit, in addition the landing gear has a delay set that allows it to be synchronized with the opening and closing of the floodgates

@spectre118 At the moment I am working on a version B of this design, in which it will have an open cockpit, in addition I will eliminate part of the internal structure, with which the number of pieces will be reduced.

Could you please make a slightly stripped down version
Slightly less detailed cockpit but still able to open and close
    Cause thats fuckin epic

@JPerero it looks fairly close to a Star of David... and has a close resemblance to the Star of David roundel's used by IAF. that's why i was asking.

@Zanedavid You have only focused on the cockpit, this plane is much more, I recommend you inspect the landing gear, the multiple gates, the weapon system, or the entire internal structure of the air ducts that go from the four shots of air to the engines, for this you can remove the top of the plane

@Flash0of0green The symbol of the Israeli air force is a 6-pointed star, the one shown in this design is a double star that has no relation

I can’t seem to find where the 2,000 parts comes into play here, like the cockpit is detailed really well but....2,000+ ?

Well I have a suggestion you could do a wireframe go the canopy like just the frames of it if that makes sense @JPerero
