"Crusader"

Lil bro foreshadowed the Oil Crusades

Unlike the other PEA-Gs

which sport part counts under 60, the F-8 stands at 63. Why?
Because the main point of PEA is using minimal parts while not compromising too much aesthetics. I could absolutely make an F-8 in less parts, but it would look a lot worse, especially given that this one already has some visible rough spots. Further adding to the part count is something that frankly could be sacrificed, but regardless adds to the build with its presence; of course, I'm referring to the Crusader's lifting wing mechanism!

The F-8 in and of itself is just a very strange and unique design. But probably the craziest feature the Crusader brings to the table is its wing, which can move up almost like elevators, but for the whole wing. I was originally going to use a single rotator to execute this mechanism, but this approach proved to be unstable at high speeds/hard turns, so I used a piston with two rotators attached instead, making a stable and effective wing mechanism which can be toggled with AG1.

Now that we've discussed the main event that is the F-8E's lifting wing, let's look at his other features: Like many PEA-G naval aircraft, the F-8E sports an arresting hook for carrier landings. It also has a fairly simplistic but effective armament of 4x guns and 4x "Overpowered Interceptor" missiles which were introduced in the "Six Shooter". Overpowered Interceptors will probably become the norm for PEA-G, at least regarding whichever crafts actually have missiles.

PEA Lore:

Not even the PEAverse, or Combined SimpleVerse more fully, is immune to the concept of light and dark; good and evil; yin and yang. In the PEAverse, the F-8 is obviously the embodiment of pure good. Think of it. A Holy Crusader with a perpetual but heartwarming smile. He keeps the PEAverse in balance. As long as the F-8 smiles, evil will not overrun the CSV.
...wait, that was all a myth? He's actually just hungry? Huh. Well, scratch all that. The F-8E is actually just a hungry dude. Still a cool guy though, but maybe a bit brutal to be the embodiment of pure good. We still have A-7 for that though, right...?

    @LunarEclipseSP I plan to, I'm not gonna lie the old one looks... off lol
    My real problem now is finding the blueprints, so far most of the good ones I found are of the single-seater Hornet...

    @TheUltimatePlaneLover I strongly suggest you to make the Super Hornet looks blueprint accurate, especially the shape and body proportion.
    .
    Because I think I really need it for my future aircraft carrier builds

    @M109simp Thanks :D
    Functionality is a priority in all PEA-G4s, and so far all of them except the McDonnell Type B V/STOL are AI-compatible in terms of landing at airports (I haven't tested the Vertigo)
