Yakovlev Yak-3

53.8k CoolPeach  7.3 years ago

After deciding I had done enough jets for now, I decided to try a WWII fighter. Proudly presenting the Yakovlev Yak-3, with a high level of detail and very stable flight. Features a custom landing gear.

Feedback is greatly appreciated!

Scale 2:1 (Pretty fancy)

Controls:
AG8 - Nav lights
VTOL - Split Flaps

Infomation:
The Yakovlev Yak-3 was a World War II Soviet fighter aircraft which was introduced in 1944. It was robust and easy to maintain, and was very much liked by pilots and ground crew alike. It was one of the smallest and lightest major combat fighters fielded by any combatant during the war. Its high power-to-weight ratio gave it excellent performance. It proved a formidable dogfighter. It retired in 1952.

Oh, I knew it was too small but because I'm iOS, I can't customise my props. I also couldn't find a prop that was twice as big and had the increased power (50x).
