"Sabre Hog"

Have we met...?

Ok, how many.

How many F-86s have I made by now? Well, there was the PEA F-86H, F-86D, No-blueprint F-86 (-[Sabre]-), VR F-86F, VR F-86D, 29-Part F-86C/YF-93, 37-Part F-86F, 39-Part F-86H... Well, I'm adding another, and I cannot be stopped!

Meet the PEA-G F-86H. I'm going to be honest, while I've made two F-86Hs already, I felt they were missing something... and boy was I right. The F-86H is, in reality, quite different from the normal F-86A/E/F which my previous H-Sabres were based on. In reality, the F-86H is actually a bit closer to the D/K/L variants. So I took up the task of making one better, accurate, final Sabre Hog (ok maybe not final but better and accurate for sure).

Unlike the first two F-86Hs I've made, the PEA-G F-86H gives us a much more realistic flight model, a bigger fuselage to accomodate for the more powerful engine (a feature of the real F-86D,K,L, and H), and an inlet that much closer resembled the "0" shaped inlet of the F-86H, as opposed to the "o" inlet seen on other Sabre variants, and my prior iterations of the F-86H. Also worth noting is the elevators, which have no dihedral (again, a feature seen on the Sabre Dog and Hog, but not the F-86A/C/E/F).

That said, have fun with the new, improved, and best of the F-86H's I've made!

Fun Fact

This F-86H has one more feature that makes it not only the best F-86H I've made, but potentially one of my best Sabres as a whole: I decided to make this Sabre Hog in the livery seen on the F-86H Sabre at March Field Museum, which I've actually been to. And yet, despite having a recognizably accurate livery, overall smoothened aesthetics, and more realistic flight performance, this still maintains a lower part count than the original Sabrehog.

Above is a picture of the F-86H I built in a desert scene. Below is an example of the F-86H I saw at March.

PEA Lore

I'm sure anyone well-versed in the PEAverse lore remembers the "Sabreswarm" incident, especially given that they're actually still present, just redirecting their focus towards the SCOURGE instead of us now. Well, this Sabre Hog is pretty much the precise opposite of its siblings in most areas. Most notably though, while the old ones were feared for their immense numbers, there's only one PEA-G F-86H. The "Habre" as some have dubbed it is full of mystery, we know almost nothing about it. We don't even know if it has any ties to the Sabreswarm, seeing as they've never been observed interacting.

@Karroc9522 Yessir, I may make more, but probably not soon since this one is peak F-86H material, at least of the ones I've built for sure. Only thing stopping it from being my flat-out best Sabre is that due to part efficiency, it lacks a cockpit, features present on the F-86F and F-86D replicas. However, I'd still rank it top 2 or 3, not sure if I'd put it over the Sabre Dog or not?
