@Tang0five have a look at the plane above, i was thinking of doing it for bogdans kamikazi challenge as hes complianing about too many ohkas but ive hit 500 parts already and its just a shell with no finishes and no missile planes....
Yeah a little too many specs. I used to quite enjoy a challenge build. Cheers for the know-how on the screenshots. I’ll try with my next one! Might have a build for you to cast an expert eye over in a few days/weeks depending on free time! @RamboJutter
@Tang0five So that Rodwan guy said that my twin hurry wasnt up to spec for his challenge as he wanted a ww2 inspired modern armed aircraft, he has a massive list of spec for marking so ive made it meet all of them =) Including the one where it says amphibious lol, I havnt told him yet but ive increased the boyancy of the gear doors so it can land and takeoff water... amused me anyway.
@Tang0five yeah I use discord to host the pick the all you do is ! [1] (link) without spaces, obv 1 turns into 2 as you do the next pic etc. I struggled with the p75 performance, I had it really sluggish to be more realistic but it just wasn't fun and you couldn't keep the nose up on landing, I had to add 5degrees of downthrust to the engines just to get level flight (lower than cog / wing).
Looks interesting! Your p.75 is really good, I do like the internal views and the performance is pretty spectacular. Is it relatively straight forward doing screenshots in to the description?@RamboJutter
@Tang0five I've put the pic for the tornado type thing above. I've entered a competition and think I've got the wrong end of the stick lol, it said "ww2 styled" modern dogfighter, so I thought what could be more ww2 styled than a mod of hurricane, mosquito and mustang :)
Oh yeah plenty to go, I keep googling what I’m working in and keep seeing more and more awesome looking designs by avro through to Vickers that keeps me distracted! Fairey p.75 does sound good as does the tornado for that matter. I didn’t realise how much of the typhoon was actually based on the British Aerospace work of the early 80s. The twinned tailed design, was that the F18 looking design? @RamboJutter
@Tang0five lol I've got a brain full of ideas at present but yeah I can't see it being over modelled, I went to Gosford a few weeks ago and saw those wind tunnel models hence the p1216, I'm working on a fairey p.75 at present and I've got an itch to make a sort of tornado but with twin fins and another few alts (saw some artwork a while ago). I'll add the buccaneer/victor to the pile. The I can use my buccs nose and cockpit I would think.
Man I love that site! Good site for inspiration. I’d love to it does look good, like a scaled down version of the victor. Got too many unfinished projects sitting around. Maybe you could put it on the back burner? Can’t see many of these coming out in the near future..... @RamboJutter

Yeah I wouldn’t worry about that - looks very neat! I think the vtol system works a treat. I think the more you fly about and practice landing the smoother you can make it look. UC can takes lots of punishment (as I discovered with my first few attempts at landing) which is good for carrier types! @tang0five, firstly thanks for your help and guidance as always (I hope you dont mind me pestering you like this, its good to have someone to bounce ideas off =) it doesnt harm that you seem to actually have an interest in these type of aircraft and thus have an idea of what they could have been). As you can see from the revision number I've done a lot of tinkering on this, if added the VTOL stuff (press AG2). Lights are now on AG5 (i need a labeling system....) ive got it set up ok but still needs a bit of trim, mainly due to engine location adding upthrust and thus trim position is variable. Careful on transition as it has a tendancy to nose up (again i think this is due to engine location being behind and down below COG. Ive added some weight to try and make it feel heavier (it floated about before). Have fun mr Test Pilot sir, try not to dent it ;) PS I agree with what you said about the fus and wing but im kinda stuck with it cos of how its built and the effect it has on moving bits when i alter it...
