@Gemista I must correct you! Gramophone. European phonographs were called Gramophones for a complex reason and had a very different mechanism (due to edisons copyright claims) they also were the first to play a round disc and were very expensive as the mechanisms used diamons in the needle. im planning on saving up for an antique one sometime.
