Some History

The Arizona during the 1920's
The Arizona during the 1920's

The USS Arizona was a Pennsylvania-class super-dreadnought. It was commisioned in 1916 and served mostly training purposes at the US east coast during WWI. In 1918 she was part of the battlegroup that was escorting President Woodrow Wilson to the Paris Peace Conference. In 1921 the Arizona was reassigned to the US Pacific fleet and San Pedro, California became her new homeport until 1940. from 1929 to 1931 the Arizona went through a massive modernisation. In 1940, she and the rest of the Pacific fleet were reassigned to Pearl Harbor, Hawaii to deter the Japanese. On the 7th of december, 1941, several japanese planes appeared at Pearl Harbor and attacked the Pacific fleet. B5N "Kate" bombers dropped several bombs at the Arizona. The battleship was hit 4 times by bombs with the fourth one exploding the ship's ammunition magazines causing a huge explosion which cut her in half. The Arizona was sunk 9 minutes after the beginning of the attack. 1177 of the 1512 crewmen died including the ship's captain, Franklin Van Valkenburg.

Now let's talk about my build!

I made it as accurate to the real one as I could and I think I did a great job. I tried to make it really detailed but don't expect every little screw to be on it. It has 3 types of working weapons and even a waving US flag at the back.

Note: The seaplane at the back is just decoration, you can't launch it.

I hope you like my creation, it took me 4 days to make it and I'm really proud of it as this is my most detailed and I think my best build so far.
Have Fun!

@Culydeath I don't think so. With almost 1000 parts and a huge size, even my computer lags sometimes, so I doubt a mobile could easily run it, sry

    Edit:
A user named Strolled commented earlier:
"Runs surprisingly well on my iPad for that size and detail, good job!"

And another user named FlyingSausage commented:
"This thing works on my phone with no lag lmao"
Maybe your mobile is worth a try too :)

I recently assembled a 5.5 inch steel model of this ship. Very nice detail. The Arizona is one of my favorites, next to the USS Iowa (BB-61)

This is super cool the only thing that could make this better is adding interceptor planes

@FlyingSausage Im happy to hear that. This is the reason why I dont make completely detailed stuff with more than a 1000 parts, so that more people can use them without lagg 😁

@BlazeInfinity I purposefully didn't make it to be very very detailed, the reasons for this are:
    1. I want it to be accessible for more people, I could've made it to be much more detailed but then it would have twice as many parts. All my builds are very simplified, but that's the purpose, so more and more people can use them even with low-end PCs or phones
    2. My laptop is not the strongest. It's a gaming laptop but still not too strong and doesn't handle huge part count builds very well. It already takes it like 2 minutes to load this ship and 1 minute to load-in the map and the ship after I press the play button. This should only take a few moments but my laptop as I said is not the very best and it is already 3 years old so it became slower than when I bought it.
About help, I see you are very professional when it comes to ships so yeah we can discuss a few things, thanks. 😁

When I first saw the parts count an the Details, I was like why is it so big. Then I noticed the gift which made sense. Good work. I would like to see more details though as you are on PC. I wasn't able to make a perfect Arizona on my phone.

@Tank6376 maybe sometime, for now I want to concentrate on my other, non-battleship related projects but I like the idea
