The Grumman F-14 Tomcat is an American supersonic, twin-engine, two-seater, variable-sweep wing fighter aircraft, designed incorporating air combat experience against MiG fighters during the Vietnam War. This variation is part of squadron VX-4, the Evaluators, out of Point Mugu, CA.

VTOL down sweeps wings
VTOL up lowers arrestor hook

Armament: 2x AIM-9, 4x AIM-7, 2x AGM-130*, one M-61 rotary cannon

*Apparently the xml modded infernos are too slow and don't get out of your way. Replace with bombs or the basic infernos for better results.

@BenTheGreat97 I'll take a look at it. I know what you mean but with this build I never ran into a problem. They just seems to clip without problems.

@maverickvii Sorry I meant to say the "engine" aka the fuselage part that makes it look like the real life engine tubes. On simple planes it's a fuselage part. I've never managed to get it to not collide.

@benthegreat97 I think that it is because my engines are far enough back that the wings do not come into contact. I did do some xml editing of the rotator but that just effected degree of rotation and range.

@maverickvii Great plane, how did you get the wings to clip into the fuselage parts? I keep trying to get my F-14 to work like this but it always collides with my engines.

For the ones I've made, I had to get the wings to go overtop of the engines and it doesn't look realistic (my F-14D model if you want to download it and see what I mean).

    Thanks in advance

@ForeverPie that was the real tail markings on the planes of the VX-4 'Evaluators'. Now why did they choose that, I have no idea.
