An implementation of FrogmasterAereonautics's Sukhoi Su-27SM (BETA VERSION), now remastered and reworked. All credits goes to the original creator.

A fighter designed to replace the old Su-27. It gets its excellent mobility from the latest avionics and thrust vectoring nozzles. Loaded with a rich armament, it is suited for combat at all ranges.

The plane is not mine, i just remastered, and implement it. Credits to FrogmasterAereonautics for the plane.

The first detailed less-part Su-35 with cockpit ever, it even VR capable.

Before we get into the descrption, I want to convey a little vent.

I see so many builds and creations in SimplePlanes related to Su-35 Flanker, but from all that i see, no one of those builds looks detailed and featuring cockpit. I know there are actually some detailed Su-35 out there, but it has more than 1000 parts, and there is no such Su-35 with less part, but looks accurately detailed (From it's size, camouflage, etc) and featuring cockpit, that's the main. So i got you guys all covered by making this first detailed less-part Su-35 with cockpit ever, it even VR capable.

About:

The Sukhoi Su-35S Flanker-E is the designation for two improved derivatives of the Su-27 air-defence fighter. They are single-seat, twin-engine, supermaneuverable aircraft, designed by the Sukhoi Design Bureau and built by the Komsomolsk-on-Amur Aircraft Plant.

The type was originally developed by the Soviet Union from the Su-27 and was known as the Su-27M. It incorporated canards and a multi-function radar giving it multi-role capabilities. The first prototype made its maiden flight in June 1988. Following the dissolution of the Soviet Union Sukhoi re-designated it as the Su-35 to attract export orders. Fourteen aircraft were produced and used for tests and demonstrations; one example had thrust-vectoring engines and was in turn redesignated the Su-37. A sole Su-35UB two-seat trainer was also built in the late 1990s that resembled the Su-30MK family.

In 2003, Sukhoi embarked on a second modernization of the Su-27 to serve as an interim aircraft awaiting the development of the Sukhoi PAK FA (Su-57) program. Also known as the Su-35, this version has a redesigned cockpit and weapons-control system and features thrust-vectoring engines in place of the canards. The type made its first flight in February 2008. Although it was designed for export, the Russian Air Force became the launch customer in 2009, with the production version designated Su-35S. China's People's Liberation Army Air Force have also placed orders.

Features:

  • Some visual changes and remastering, with Splinter Grey/Dark grey/White camouflage based on second prototype "#902 Black" scheme, and decals (Another typically hellish day to making it's camo).
  • Some empty pylons underneath, you can put extra weapons overthere (Operational by pressing AG6 for jettison).
  • Rescaled a little bit bigger, because the original looks kinda smaller than the Sukhoi Flanker size should be.
  • "Almost" accurate cockpit and interior (Yeah i tried my best).
  • Less than 550 parts or even more.
  • Interactive cockpit.
  • PSM capability.
  • Working RADAR and cockpit instruments.
  • Working HUD.
  • Instruction not included (I forgot to put the instruction darn it!).

Weapons:

6x MSL.
2x SAAM.

Controls:

Normal flight control.

VTOL = Flaps.
TRIM = Trim.

Miscellaneous:

AG1 = Afterburner.
AG2 = Lights.
AG3 = Refuel probe.
AG4 = Jettison MSL.
AG5 = Jettison SAAM.
AG6 = Jettison (Extra Pylons).
AG7 = Open/close canopy.
AG8 = AOA Limiter/Toggle PSM Mode.

PSM Control:

Post Stall Maneuvers can be initiated by slowing the aircraft down to around 200 mph or lower by holding brakes [B]. After the speed reach 200 mph or below, press pitch up [S] followed by throttle [LShift]. Make sure the PSM mode [AG8] is de-activated.

Bugs/glitches:

•Some of the plane wing control surfaces are glitchy. (When you try to Trim or VTOL (Faps) down, you can see the wing control surface looks clipping through). Not a dangerous glitch or even making your game crashed, but it just looks kinda annoying to see.

VITAL ATTENCION

Please read and keep on mind.

I am not the first person who put a potrait into a cockpit, especially it's a picture of a potrait of a girl. So please be fair and blah blah blah, you got the point right? Allright, we are good.

If only the description of the curated post could still be edited, i should put this message on the description.

Let's take a look at one of the example. This plane also have a girl potrait inside of it.
I mean why this creation looks fine to put girl potrait while i can't? That's really unfair bro.

    I don’t mean to complain but the PSM is really bad. There is no yaw and you have to be EXTREMELY slow to use it.

    Yoooo i tried make it PSM. But it seems not really PSM. I does high G maneuvers when pitching up. I trollling ice base missile launchers. And yes, some tests. Maybe i should put the CoM center the CoL and adjust the landing gear

    @Jamesmyboy1 originally not my build, but thanks pal, i made a great rework and implementation. Making it's livery such a hellish nightmare.
    Fun fact: This is the first detailed Su-35 creation featuring cockpit and less part.
    I saw many creations related to Su-35, but mostly all of it's creations weren't featuring cockpit and even detailed. There was a detailed Su-35 with cockpit, but it made by complicated and as a result, it parts count are more than 1000 parts

    Ima be honest this is one of the nicest planes I have flown it flys very smooth and I love all the cockpit features as well as the fact that you took time to add a after burner button so it’s not always on dude I started fighting the fleet and I was have so much fun flying around trying to dodge like 20 missiles thank you for this beautiful plane
