Target Series!

The first ever, fully AI-capable, target Submarine that doesn't suck as much as my first(or second, or third, fourth maybe.) target submarine, more realistic? certainly! she won't surface until you are sunk, better prepare your anti-submarine weapons, she won't go down without a fight, watch out for her speedy torpedoes! of course, as a handicap for you, the periscope will generate a glint of white light that you can see clearly, but not for long though.. get too close and she'll dive deeper, stop moving, and wait until you pass her.. better hope your depth charge has a depth setting lest you can do nothin, heh.

notes : an early, but very successful proof-of-concept for a special AI-capable Submarine; if a target is spotted, she will dive to periscope depth and when a hostile target gets closer, she the will dive deeper and turn off her engine to hide herself, improvements could be made in hindsight such as gradual firing of torpedoes rather than an aggressive spread so as to engage from further distances, but from Torriceli’s actual engagement range, its somewhat.. realistic? hm.

Evangelista Torricelli was one of four Archimede-class submarines built for the Regia Marina (Royal Italian Navy) during the 1930s. She served in the Spanish Civil War of 1936–1939, and was transferred to the Armada Española (Spanish Navy) of Nationalists in 1937, renamed as General Mola.
