The TF-800 was designed to completely replace the TF-74 Vixens in ATLAS's Air Force. The Apex features many new technologies such as the Günther and Häwke AMP-23 micro silos. The Apex also features a double canard design and a unique cockpit layout using cameras to feed to a display so the pilot can look below the aircraft. Despite having powerful weaponry the "A" variant preforms poorly in a rate fight and tends to favor the one circle.
Energy management is crucial when fighting in this aircraft, also pay attention to your speed.
