1:1 Historically accurate replica of the Republic P-47M- 1- RE, an advanced multirole fighter of the WW2.
|| INSTRUCTIONS BELOW ||
One of the most iconic and recognizable aircraft, the P-47 Thunderbolt was one of the main fighters of the USAF during the WW2 and was operative until 1947, it was easy to fly, hard to beat and very fast. The main problem was the size, it was the biggest fighter of the WW2 and, due to this, was easy to hit... but the solid contruction and the size makes it very structurally strong..
It was used as a multirole fighter, used both as fighter and bomber/ground attacker.
This one is painted with the schemes of the 63st Fighter Squadron, 56th Fighter Group, 8th Air Force, USAAF... The same plane that flies the Capt. George E. Bostwick during the spring of 1945 and with which he shot down a Me262.
