The Island-class patrol boat is a Paternian patrol boat designed and manufactured by Bandit Industries as a fast, heavily-armed and inexpensive patrol boat for coastal patrol duties. Displacing 260 tons and armed with a wide variety of cannon and machine guns, they are formidable vessels. They're quite maneuverable vessels as well, with CODAG powerplants and various steering enhancements. Further unofficial armament upgrades, such as salvaged 70mm rocket pods, 106mm recoilless rifles, additional automatic cannons, mortars, and machine guns, the Island-class patrol boats could boast far more firepower than their diminutive size would suggest.
