-- Read instructions below --

The German Focke-Wulf Fw 190 was one of the most produced and successful fighters of the WW2, it was the main fighter of the Luftwaffe from late 1941 until the end of the war. As the Bf 109, the Fw 190 was employed as a workhorse of the Luftwaffe, and proved competent for a wide variety of functions: aerial superiority fighter, fighter-bomber, ground attack aircraft, escort fighter, and also used, although less successfully, as a night fighter.

This fighter turned out to be a very unpleasant surprise for the allies, especially for the British, who after the German attack in the Battle of Britain they face the enhanced new enemy. These new fighters have better performance than the Spitfire V. In 1942, the allies managed to capture one Fw 190 and the bad news was confirmed: this was unbelievably superior to any of its allied counterparts.
In matters of maneuverability it was the same as the allied fighters, but its superior speed, structural robustness, bounded measures, powerful armament and its cabin that allowed great visibility, make it very difficult to shot down when not impossible. With the arrival of the P 51D it was hardly surpassed in some points in heights over 5,000 m.
