It is based on my J-8Ⅱ, but in the real life, the J-8Ⅰ(Only for daytime) is the first fighter in J-8 family which finished her first flight in 1969. It was built to intercept Soviet Union's bombers. My father who was borned then, said that they have thought of anything but surrender.
The aircraft is equipped with a weapons to ground configuration(2×PL-2, 2×90-1 Rocket Pod, and 1×500-1High Resistance Bomb).
