[About Bell P-63 F Kingcobra]

Wikipedia
The Bell P-63 F Kingcobra was a fighter aircraft operated by the U.S. Army Air Corps in World War II.
The P-39, Bell's first full-scale fighter, had a unique design and mechanism in terms of engine mounting position and other features, but it also had many defects. Therefore, development of a successor that overcame the shortcomings of the P-39 was promoted; a prototype was ordered in June 1941, and the prototype made its first flight on December 7 of the same year.
The design of the P-63 Kingcobra was basically based on that of the P-39. The engine was an Allison V-1710 with a supercharger for improved high-altitude performance. However, in terms of speed and other performance characteristics, it was inferior to the P-47 and P-51, and was deployed only in some training units of the U.S. Army Air Corps. Instead, about 2,400 of them were provided to the Soviet Union on a lend-lease basis, and they were actively used.
Several derivatives were also produced. The most famous of these is the RP-63 "Pinball," a manned target aircraft. More than 300 of this target aircraft type were produced, with the entire fuselage painted orange.
The F-type was a prototype with a larger vertical tail wing, of which only two were built. One of the surviving F-Type aircraft, number N6763, was lost in a mid-air collision at a Dallas air show on November 12, 2022.

[About the work]
At the suggestion of King of Typos, I built this aircraft as a piece of condolence to the Dallas Air Show disaster of 2022.King of Typos also created the P-63F last year, which is also a must-see.
I sincerely admire the efforts of those who continue to maintain the WW2 warbirds and the courage of all the pilots who take the controls of the warbirds.
The cockpit is roughly reproduced.
I have not verified this because I do not have Simple Planes VR. Sorry.
