By Request here is the Empty Quarter or Rub' al Khali north of Shisr, where an ancient city fell into the gargantuan limestone cavern that was full of water and had supported the city water-wise and physically!
When the water was not supporting the sides enough, the city fell into the cavern!
Crazy!

I like it! It would be nice if the airport had textures though. It'd be fun taking off at it then!
Do you think it would be possible to copy the incoming from the windmills to make the oasis trees fall?

Surprisingly, water in the Rub' al Khali, is often as close as 3m to the surface!

There are old lake beds in the Rub' al Khali as well!
(Admittedly, I did take quite a bit of artistic license with the palm trees though...) ;D
