First of all, I would like to tell you that I am by no means a professional in modding and that there are certainly much better sources than me. Nevertheless, I will try to answer your questions and share my experiences with you.

1. To create a map plugin, in unity go to:
   SimplePlanes -> Game Objects -> Map Plugin

2. I think, it should work. The models I use are from the synty store. (https://syntystore.com/) However, I did not manage to import the collision and had to use convex collider and box collider.

3. I scaled my LOW POLY MODELS to 0.75, which was about right for me visually in terms of scale. It's best to use the height 3 of a fuselage block as a guide for a person standing upright.

@Firgreen I have a question. I am wanting to get into modding, and have unity completely downloaded and ready. How do I make a map plugin instead of an entirely new map? This is vital information I need to begin. I was hoping to make a large military base and city based on the Maywar island, as the Windshifter's Aerospace Engineering Corporation (WAEC) base.

Also do you know if it is possible to make map plugins with external models (models not pre-loaded from simpleplanes, but downloadable unity models)?

Additionally, what is the accurate SimplePlanes scale? I noticed when I try to make mods, and I put the simpleplanes assets such as runways or hangars into the mod, it is really small, inaccurate for the SP game world. What is the correct scale I need?

Maywar doesn't exist in mobile too (unless you use a non script map plugin)

@jerome4895 It's basically the same as creating a map, but instead of "Map", select "Map plugin". If you get stuck, please feel free to ask further questions.

Is there a tutorial on how to make airport plugins like this. I saw how to create a map but how do you create an airport to add to the regular map?

I failed to discern whether the airport was on a raised foundation or not. First approach and landing was quite hard.
Great work. Maywar is a little less sand and boredom now.
