Stealing Parts and Retaliation (+ cool photo)

I hate stirring up drama as much as the next person, but I do feel like I have to be the voice of reason here.

I'm sure we can all agree that stealing is wrong. I don't think anyone disagrees with that. I'm sure we can also agree that lying is wrong. I don't think anyone disagrees with that. I'm sure we can also agree bullying is wrong.

However, there's a fine line between trying to rectify a situation of someone stealing uploaded parts and just straight up bullying them on and off the site. Now I'm not saying names and I'm not saying these things did or didn't happen (honestly, I'm not 100% up to speed on the situation), but if you have an issue with someone:

TAG A MODERATOR

And tell us what the issue is

If you feel someone has stolen something of yours and not given credit for it, let us know. There are things we can do as moderators to rectify the situation. I've only heard about this problem today and I try to keep a close eye on the community, as well as the moderator chat and this is the first I've heard of this user being such a problem, which is quite ironic given this "problem" seems to go back quite a bit. So either I'm a really lazy moderator or this hasn't been brought up by users before. And I'll be honest, both are equally likely.

Anyway, if you have an item of yours stolen in real life, would you call the police or would you keep it a secret from them and not tell them? Because it seems to be the latter that's happening on this site.

Now obviously, there's a possibility that you won't get the outcome you want. Maybe we'll look at a part and conclude it was simply inspired by your part and not a copy of it. But, we will try to get an outcome everyone will be happy with.

On another note, here's a picture I took outside of my new workplace:

    i think the successor/predecessor system needs to be beefed up, from the parent link in the xml of the cockpit of the plane, to the parent link in the xml of all parts, and then have a multi-crediting system

    @Squirrel Great!
    Love the Shackleton MR2. I work at a museum with an MR3, which has a tricycle undercarriage, compared to the MR2's "tail-dragger" landing gear.
    Where was the picture taken?
