Basically, just a quick suggestion.
In my opinion, iOS users should have a built-in XML-modding tool, kinda like the Overload mod, if I remember correctly.
This would make the life of me and other iOS users way better so we don’t have to ask the SP community to XML mod different parts. Yes, it would be unfair for Android users because they will still have to download external mods, but that can easily be fixed by adding built-in Android XML. And then PC users will have a disadvantage, so I don’t even know what to do here. Just do whatever you want I guess.
Alright I might as well just delete this post cause I’ve caused a big argument here.
I see. @Minecraftpoweer
@SuperSix ....... I said that I think all platforms should be equal because it would be illogical for them not to be considering they added the fine tuner to all platforms even though android and pc can have the mod. It would be wierd if they just added it to 1 platform, that is my point. Consider re reading my comments?
It would be better so I could make my own modded parts @Minecraftpoweer
@SuperSix I didn't say that. I just said its wierd he thought they wouldn't make it equal. Like why would they just add it on iOS? Ofcourse they'd add it on the other platforms aswell, like how they did it with the fine tuner.
Why would you not want every platform to be equal
That would be good it’s fair ground... @Minecraftpoweer
But if they added in game XML it would be like the fine tuner they added... everyone would have it and there wouldn't be an advantage over other platforms, idk why you are thinking that way lol. I'm thinking maybe they'll do like sr2. There you can edit values beyond normal so xml modding is not necessarily needed.
Why not? I’m not offended, just asking.
@robloxweponco
No, and no
That’s literally what I was saying. Built-in Overload mod. Though yeah, I don’t think Apple would get too mad as we aren’t really “hacking” or “jailbreaking” or doing something bad to their devices, just adding a new feature to the game. This could definitely be possible, except for the Android and PC disadvantages mentioned above.
@randomusername
Yes, but the idea is still not 100% complete in my head, just about like 65%. @randomusername
Probably a button in the designer (like the part rotation, menu, add part button etc.) which makes the XML menu appear and you can select which parts to modify. @randomusername
