SMC Aerospace has given the go-ahead for Project Light-Bender, which will test a new form of high-speed, high-altitude propulsion. A mock-up of the test aircraft has already been produced and the new engine will be test-dropped from a modified Dark Arrow aircraft in a few weeks, prior to installation on board its dedicated test aircraft. I shall post updates on the program as it progresses.
