Ok, so obviously the way the MP mod is right now, where you connect to an IP address and interact with several other players over the internet, that will not work. I think we can all agree that 80% of mobile devices could not run that many planes on that high part count.
But... there is another method of MP that’s perfect for mobile devices...
LAN multiplayer
This would be good because you could play SP with your friends and family, and if they bring on a 9000000 part plane, you can just go over to them, punch them in the face and Chuck their device in the bin! And, you don’t need to any IP addresses or even need wifi to connect!
Disclaimer: I’m not saying that the SPMP mod should be redesigned or be made available for mobile, I’m suggesting that someone else could make a new mobile SPMP mod. Also, this is only an idea, not something I’m inflicting upon others that they must do or they die. Also I have very little modding and coding knowledge so if this is very dumb I’m sorry lol.

What's the diffrence in part count here and there.. also who uses Lan.. unless it's a triple a game it wouldn't have that much people play Lan .. so yeah.. idk.. that's what I think to be honest not be a lil sheet

The devs keep talking about the fact that they don’t want to add a feature (ie, Multiplayer) that would never work completely bugless. But I don’t know why they just add a notice that it’s an experimental feature and may not work smoothly on your device... I mean, multiplayer would be a game changer if they added it... @CRJ900Pilot

LAN stands for Local Area Network, and the way computers connect over any such network is with IP addresses, they will just be LAN IPs instead of global, and that can already be done with the current version of MP.
This does not inherently improve performance, just you probably won't have as many people connected (and network lag should be far less), however when I tried building for Android, I could not even connect to my local server, it simply didn't function.
It is most likely possible to fix this somehow, but debugging something like this on Android is a massive pain (PC MP is already much more difficult to debug than my other mods, and Android is always harder to debug) , and only people with some of the latest flagship devices would really be able to run it anyway...

I have played multiplayer games with that feature and it works pretty darn good. the only real down fall is you have to be near the players you are playing with.

if i was into coding i would do it myself so i know it would work but then by the time i manage to do multiplayer SP would only be 100,000 inactive members due to loss in popularity

That's a stupid suggestion. Punching a friend/family member in that face and throwing their device in the bin is ridiculous for one reason.

You have to disconnect the device from the WiFi before throwing it in the bin. Otherwise, it's still in multiplayer.
