Im building the uss Montana and im almost done with it but, somehow 2400 parts killed my sp on a 16GB Ram worse than the an-225 on highest rated. Can anyone give me some tips for a large build or atleast fix the turrets and planes for me?

    I'm almost done with my Montana... the project's been the most advanced one I've ever built, but has a relatively similar part count to my USS New York project...

    I dunno whats going on but my 2GB ram phone can still live with a creation that has 1000 parts on the lowest physics + high reflection

    damperMultiplier = some large number
    or scale the weight of the rotators to some large number

    @Dllama4 yeah, seems like it would take awhile, last problem, how do i keep the turrets from rocking back and forth when i turn them?

    I made a mistake not doing this on my ship and now it lags like crazy on weaker devices.

    okay, awesome

    @TheXDimension32 Doing so on a large amount of parts should decrease lag.

    You do it under “part” @TheXDimension32

    @TheXDimension32 yeah, any part should do the trick

    @Dllama4 okay, so i use that in overload?

    @TheXDimension32 Okay, no problem. Another thing you could try is to just try and keep the part count low... pretty obvious... otherwise, good luck.

    Try doing it to as many parts as possible. If you haven’t done so on any parts yet, I can do the whole ship for you.

    Doing so will disable drag on parts and will reduce lag.

    @TheXDimension32 Because this is a large ship and drag doesn’t affect sailing performance, I recommend calculateDrag = False
