Next year I will be on rarely as I will have gone off to serve our country yes I’m joining up at 17 I turned my papers in last year and I know I’m making my sacrifice for the greater good of America I’ll be in the Army infantry is what I’m being assigned to after I’m done with boot camp
I’m also making this to make others aware of the sacrifice so many give for us but so many of us disrespect them and see them as nothing special their just like us well they ain’t they gave so much for us my dad gave his marriage and back to serve our country and my great grandfather gave his life I salute our veterans and am proud to make the sacrifice so just one more veteran that’s fighting right now can retire and I’ll take his place
And I’m asking not telling you to do anything but please please if any of you guys see a veteran or a current active military member tell them how much your thankful for what their doing for after all they don’t have to do what their doing but their doing it because they love their countries it will help them so much or at least smile and say hello better yet just smile at them it makes them know they are appreciated
That’s all comment if you appreciate and thank our military personal retired or active

im going to be blunt about the homeless....many are homeless because they choose to be. When I was younger we had a program in the church that reached out to the homeless. We gave them food, clothing and tried to find housing for them. Many prefer the “off the grid” lifestyle of not paying taxes and dealing with the man. Also, something you may not know yet due to your age our system of employment in this country HEAVILY favors veterans and minorities. When you are applying for a job the fact a person is a veteran typically scores that person a automatic 5-6 extra points during their application process. Same with minorities in some jobs. So while some are homeless because of bad situations many others are homeless because of choice. @CptJacobson
kids are kids.... thats more of a reflection on poor parenting than anything. Kids do stupid things for stupid reasons i wouldnt use that example as a example of disrespect for all. @CptJacobson

At least I think it said 30,000 or 40,000 are homeless and forgotten so you tell me whose disrespectful here our government or just any could give them shelter and food to them but no to many of us look at veterans with disgust @Texasfam04
