I've been working on a rail mod for a while, and now I have a working prototype. Sorta of.
As you see, the train bogie stands on rails, not between them, which is more realistic, but requires much greater aligning precision.
*Some features the new system will have:
Real-like rail physics
A pack of rail elements to create your own railroad
Custom train meshes
Train wheel and bogie parts
Twistable rails (?) made with splines (still plans only)*
Of course, i need a test map, so here are some facts about what it will be:
A 30*30km island with two cities and some villages
Based on His Majesty Aircraft lore (weird aircraft, steam and shiny sleek battleships to be added)
A rocky landscape with a lot of bridges, viaducts and uphill steaming (in progress)
Factories and coal mines
Maybe autumn-themed.

@DuckMint Well, the tracks are an early prototype I think now i will work with the tracks in Blender and tgen compile into Unity, but still i have a few concepts about flex track. I will post on forums when I'd make them work properly.
