i need help with exporting a model from sp so i can edit it in a 3d printing software

i export it, it creates two files one is empty the other has files in it, when i go to open them (i have tried each one) it says something like it is unable to open the folder any one know what to do?

    You will get 3 files on export
    - OBJ: the actual 3D model; contains vertices and faces
    - MTL: lists textures included and their settings
    - PNG: texture

    You need all three to open the export. From other comments it looks like you don't have the PNG file

    there is a mtl and a obj file that comes with the folder i tried putting them in and then just one of them but still nothing @jamesPLANESii

    i just exported it again, i oped the file in blender and it said the file could not be read @jamesPLANESii

    i have one is on my desktop (it has all the files in it the other one is in documents i think (this one is empty) @jamesPLANESii

    Then you need to find the file location that it gives when you press export.

    You press the menu button, then you press the 3D print / export button. It’s above the exit button.
