what i am suggesting, is some one to make a mod that messes with the weather settings in such a way that there is a chance whenever the weather changes to stormy theirs a set chance for lightning to arc, strike, and flash. mind you could do more such as adding saint Elmo's fire and random lightning strikes during clear weather conditions.

it technically does have lighting, because we have shadows
and you can't have light without darkness
