You can swept the tips of the blades and actually bend the blade backwards to reduce drag @ShatSlanger

I use this hacked engine with like anywhere from 4000-9000 horse power so yeah it is meant to push the barrier of what is possible like all my designs

@ShatSlanger scimitar props are designed for transonic speed. It is possible to make a prop go faster than the speed of sound, but it would have so much drag, it wouldn't be practical. Around 700km/h is where jets are becoming more efficient than props.

if you like props then you can design a propfan airliner, something like An-70 or Boeing 7J7
