So, as you all know, I'm making a GE 70 Ton locomotive. But here's the thing: I don't know if I should add some rolling stock or not. The options are a snowplow and/or a caboose. Here's what they looked like in real life:
(it's a small image, i know)
So... should I make both? Or just the caboose?
kthx
In America we just light the rails on fire.
@BACconcordepilot if the ice was frozen solid a hundred or so feet, then yes
if its an active rail the snow is eventually cleared by one train going by
that means the ties need to be replaced, it does 't make much friction
school work is important, far more than arguing about a childs movie
@BACconcordepilot
1. the polar express was intended for children and a lot of inaccuracies were made to slip because of it (ie a whole consist cannot drift across a frozen lake)
2. regular train service has never been to the point where it would keep rails warm, plus signals regulate the distance between trains
3. theres only high friction and compression when trains brake, but it doesn't leave anything. if it was a high amount, it would burn through the rails like dirt
4. get back to class
