Basically what I mean is we need something like this (notice how two people are credited for making the mod), except for builds/uploads. This is a good way for unnoticed people to be known and credited. Those who helped could be tagged, similar to adding tags, as an option. Thoughts?

You just gave a reason against this yourself. We will have people tagging along on top-notch builders, like they did on WEAPONSMITH's mods. Didn't do a thing, got 1000 points for being a 'friend' of a quality builder. Successor system works just fine.
