MacBook Mods

2,406 HighOnSP  6.6 years ago

I have a MacBook, and I was wondering if there was any "mods" folder of some sort. I know simply opening the file will not work, but I saw someone using the Mac version, and he had mods like Fine Tuner and Overload, albeit it was the Steam Version. If I cannot use mods on the purely Mac version (not off of Steam), then is there any way I could get the Steam Version free? Probably not as many people already had the app before the Steam launch

In fact this post has reminded me to buy Steam SP if I ever get a better computer. (My old MacBook Air 2011 would melt with SimplePlanes) @jamesPLANESii

Tbh, I think if Jundroo could give Mac App Store SP owners Steam SP for free the active user number would skyrocket. Even I, a hardcore Apple supporter admit the modding rules are overkill, but I learn to live with it. @jamesPLANESii

You can only download mods for Mac if you bought SP from Steam. The Mac App Store is just like the iOS one; no mods.

Yeah. You can't get mods on the App Store version of the game. And I don't think there's any way of getting SP for free on steam...
