Modular Missile + Guided Bomb

Since I have noticed that my previous suggestion, about long-range missiles, is specific to only certain weapons, lacking customization options, and not being usable for everyone, I have changed it to be more general and provide far more options, at the cost of more dev time needed to make it a reality. I believe this would cover all guided weapon suggestions I have seen so far. With current Build-A-Body-Around-An-Inferno-Missile system, nothing we make can match the range and speed of stock Inferno, making those custom missiles useless. Thus, I suggest this:

What I suggest is a modular system, that would allow us to assemble our own weapons, whose specifications wouldn't have to be inferior to stock weapons. We are to have three groups of weapon components, namely Warhead, Guidance head, Booster/Motor. Every one of those groups would give us a few options to chose from. Here are my suggestions on specifications of those components:

Warhead:
-Frag Small: Streamlined Boom25;
-Frag Large: Streamlined Boom50;
-Armour Piercing Small: Makes damage on the target, small area effect (like stock Inferno missile);
-Armour Piercing Large: Does the same, but with enough force that three can knock out a destroyer.

Guidance head:
-Infra red: like for Guardian, you have to illuminate the target for the entire time;
-Radar: Fire-and-Forget, like Inferno;

Booster(Motor)
-Small: can push 350lbs missile at 1000mph, burn time 15sec;
-Medium: can push a 900lbs missile at 1000mph, burn time 30sec;
-Large: can push 2000lbs missile 1000mph for 120sec;

Lock-on distance would be adjustable in the setting of guidance head. Same goes for Air-to-Air/Air-to-Ground switch

Examples of ordinance:
-Warhead Frag Small + Laser Guidance Air-to-Ground = guided bomb;
-Warhead AP Large + Radar Guidance Air-to-Ground + Large Booster = Cruise Missile;
-Warhead AP Small + Laser Guidance + Medium Booster = AGM-65 Maverick.

Usage of these parts would be easy for beginners, as the parts would snap onto each other. Front, cone-like section, would be a warhead. Guidance would be given by a middle section, a cylinder with small wings on the sides. Propulsion would be given by a booster in the rear, with a bit bigger wings. Parts would snap right onto each other. Missile would be attached to the plane by its middle section. Parts of the missile would be assigned to its guidance part the same way wheels are assigned to an engine, so when the guidance part is launched, booster starts.

    Great idea, voted. It really would be nice to have some customisation in the weapon field. I'd definitely include the option for ignition delay though.

    maybe some retarded-ignition missiles like those that drop from the plane and after some time they ignite and fly to target? that would be great because a missile being pushed out of a fighter/bomber at great speeds is very unrealistic imo, also custom pylons

    @WNP78 infrared seeker head is missile-mounted. On older models, like AIM-9 Sidewinder, it points where the missile is flying. On newer, like IRIS-T, target can be kept locked on at a large angle.

    I feel like Infra red would have better potential to be a fire and forget system, but at a closer distance from the target. Perhaps something like:

    Radar Fire and forget - long range, long lock on time, small lock angle (interceptor)
    Radar Guided - Short range, short lock time, wide lock angle (Guardian)
    Infrared - Medium range, short lock time, small lock angle
