"Your post has been removed"

If you look through a moderator's comment feed, you'll see countless of these:

"Your post has been removed for (insert reason)".

I wonder what the mod's keyboard auto fill shortcut for that is? Maybe it's something like "removed copy" or "removed explicit". Because there's no way their going to copy/paste that every single time.

I also wonder if the mods keep a running count on the number of times they've had to do that. It must be in the hundreds, if not thousands.

Personally, I'm glad I've only got one post removed. I was a new player, and I found a really cool plane, so I reuploaded it. In my mind, reuploading it would make it more popular. Obviously that is against the rules, so a mod showed up and removed it. I'm glad I learned that lesson early on.

Yes, and I'm fine with even just small tweaks. I'll make it known if someone has completely plagiarized my work. @TheLatentImage

@TheStarTrekGuy if the original poster is ok with it and there are some noticeable changes made then it shouldn't be an issue. Though, generally you will find that original content will be more well recieved.

@TheLatentImage Hi. I'me new and I recently reuploaded two planes. In both, I added a lot off lights but nothing that really impacts performance other than it looking cooler. The creator (Awsomur) said it was OK for 1 of the two (one was by someone else) but after reading the rules I am not so sure. Any advice?

Good on you. It's not a fun experience, but it's also not the end of the world. @FlyingFanatic

@Ian1231100 by inspecting the plane in question and then researching the possible uploads from which it was stolen.

@TheLatentImage So how can you be sure if a user copies others' planes while bypassing the successor system?

I don't actually type them up, they are messages that were written by the dev team, I just have a few different ones to choose from.

What I mean is how do they type up those generic messages, not how they remove a post. @destroyerP

Kind of what I thought. Thanks for putting so much time into keeping to community safe. @TheLatentImage

I have a toolbar that gives me different options for how to deal with an upload. Some of them allow me to remove a post as well as comment a pre-written message.

Just tag a mod like @TheLatentImage and ask them.

I believe they remove plane in the same way you remove it. How do I know? Because I am very sneaky
