So, after two weeks of working on this airplane, I've finally pushed it into its final design stages. My 25k Special aircraft, the B.P26 Intercontinental Bomber, is almost complete.
I've stayed pretty loyal to the design goals that I set up in that forum post a while back. The aircraft has a cruising speed of over 250 mph at a cruising altitude of 30,000 feet, and easily surpasses the 2,500 mile range target. I might increase the bomb load for the final product to 30,000 lbs, but for now this version carries 25,000 pounds. The landing gear is custom-built, and retractable via VTOL into individual bays in the fuselage and engine nacelles. All seven mouse-aim turrets have been installed, but no cameras have been fitted yet. And a lot of performance testing is still required on my computer to make sure she flies as well as I'd like in certain combat situations. So yeah, I hope you guys are looking forward to this as much as I am, it's probably the most practical bomber I've ever made, and I'm pretty proud of it so far. I'll be releasing the B.P26 this Friday, June 9th, at 3:30PM Pacific Time. Thanks a lot, everyone ^-^

That's right ;) @TemDesBur deactivating Group 8 will engage the autopilot and allow the player to switch to mouse-aim mode with the turrets. One at a time, of course, to allow precise individual firing.
The pistons are pretty strong by themselves @FennVectorCWA I also tuned the front and back suspension (in tricycle formation) to properly balance the aircraft without being too wobbly on the runway
