The UH-65 Sparrow, developed by Sikorsky, is a pilot rescue helicopter, meaning that it will enter enemy territory to try and rescue downed friendly pilots. For this role it is equipped with a single M60X machine gun, which is an experimental upgrade over the original design. It has a crew of three (pilot, co-pilot, and gunner) and can seat up to six additional troops (Lego model does not seat that many, sadly). Underneath the rear sections of the doors (on both sides) are attachment points for stretchers, supplies, ammo crates, and more. The helicopter also has an ejection system where the rotor blades detach from the hub, the cockpit roof pops off, and the pilots are ejected from the aircraft. It has a top speed of around 230 miles per hour, making it one of the fastest helicopters used by the United States Air Force and United States Army. Further development has been shifted towards developing an anti-submarine variant that would launch from aircraft carriers, as well as a firefighting/rescue variant.
