On simple planes, a lot of users don't get the attention they deserve though they can build well, because of the fact that others use fine tuner and XML modding software. Some people cant get the software to mod aircraft, so they get fewer points and a much smaller chance to get on the front page. What i'm suggesting is if we could split the aircraft section into two and possibly modded aircraft could receive less points per upvote. It may work or it may not, please tell me any flaws in this idea or anything we could do to put this into action

And also, if we would devide it, many people would only check out xml-modded planes and IOS player won't have a chance anymore
Maybe we could ask for a "Not-XML-Modded" tag for airplanes. I think people would use it honestly. As far as i can imagine Its the easiest way to solve your problem
Plus there's no way the site to check if a part is modded or not, unless it checked every line of the XML, which would cause a lot of stress handling all the uploads
If you ask, people would be happy to help with anything that requires xml
First off, the people who can't XML mod are on iOS, every other operating system you can... and it's easy AF

@MechWARRIOR57 you're right, you don't need XML to be good. Problem is people with XML can do things regular users can't. From making roundels to machine guns with more power.
