I am terrified..

14.2k CODENAMEBOB  7.6 years ago

Of the dark. Laugh all you want, but the pitch-black nothingness is the most horrifying stuff on the planet. Right now it's 2:20 AM, and I can't sleep because it's too dark. I had been peacefully sleeping just hours earlier when someone turned off the kitchen light. I had this (somewhat) twisted nightmare about the darkness coming in the form of a bullet and killings everyone in the house. I was too scared to move for quite a while. What scared me so much about it is that the bullet had a face and a personality. It was also GIGANTIC so that helped in the scaring process. I finally had the courage to turn on my iPad and make some of the dark go away. This is one of the scariest experiences I've had thus far in the game we call life. I wonder where my mind got the idea for the bullet....

@MrSharp a simple way to beat your fear of the smell is to simply snort copper! Grab a handful of pennies and take a big ol wiff. This is a foolproof way to get over your fear!

I suggest you don't speak out your dream. As it may come true in one form or another. Just a word of advice for anyone willing to say out their dreams.

Once I had a dream that I was riding a bicycle down the sidewalk, and I fell off of it, then a man in a white ford ranger pickup pulled up on this half-driveway thing on the side of the road, he asked if I was okay, and I said yes. Then I woke up. The next day the same thing that happened in my Déjà vu dream, happened in real life. At that point I was scared of myself.

@Mod that's exactly what my friends said when I told them! This bullet was different. It had a sharper point and was longer. It didn't have eyes. Just a very disturbing mouth...

When I have nightmares they stick with me for quite a while, one was the day before my dog died the thing that creeps me out with that one the dog never returned before I woke up some serious Déjà vu

Turn on the light, and yea the dark is scary, I always have my TV on when I am sleeping, just for the comforting sound of other people and sound.
