It is always better to get direct notifications on the new planes from the persons we follow rather than searching them in jetstream.
Therefore I suggest to make two different sections.
New Planes: where the notifications of the new planes of the persons we follow.
Spotlight: here we can see spotlighted planes

It's a good idea, I've thought the same thing since the spotlights feature came about. There needs to be two separate listings. Or a filter for "Following" "Spotlight" and "All"

Agreed. I'm missing out so many planes made by people I follow, because my jetstream is full of spotlighted planes, most of which I don't like.
I suggest adding a filter to choose a certain follower or spotlights by a certain follower, I think it should also be sorted by tags.
