It really bugs me when people blindly upvote builds without even seeing if they suck or not. i can understand, if they just upvote because of the looks, but it would be great if you actually looked at it in game. im not doing this for downloads / upvotes, im just doing it because its really darn annoying to not get any sort of critique or review of a plane, and just blindly upvote.
Agreed. But I honestly don't care about it.
An old airforce saying goes "If it looks nice it flies nice". But, in SP this isnt the truth. Personally my upvotes have a dual role. 1st is the looks. If it looks cool/awesome/detailed etc I will upvote it. 2nd is the handling/aerodynamic correspondance. If it flies exceptionally, it is well balanced and its stability is ideal then it will have my upvote. Its so simple and no big deal really.

Most of the time, I'll have a pretty good idea of how something will handle just by looking at its specifications, mass distribution, and design. I open the plane up in the editor, look at it a bit, pick it apart to see how it's built, then I delete it (or occasionally save it). I don't really need to test a plane to know it's good.
This happens ALL THE TIME. But I'm not really complaining. A creation can look really epic with details and all. But flies like a crippled mosquito.
So everything that I upvote in the future will have a part count of less than 200. Happy now!?!
Honestly, most planes either have too many parts for me, or just arent unique. This is the main reason i upvote based on looks.
Well sometimes you don't have your device to download it with you but you can upvote it and btw I almost never get comments saying "cool build bro!" And that really sucks yet I'm not going to go and make a forum post about it
