Okay. This is it. The year phones were BANNED. As some of you others may know, many states have been making crackdowns on cellphone use at school. My state, Ohio(DONT RECITE THE MEME) is one of those states. The governor and state government have all decided on totally banning the use and carry of cellular devices for middle and high school. Pretty much, this means I am restricted to posting between 4 in the evening(6 every Monday and Thursday) and 6:30 in the morning. 12 hours primarily taken up by sleep is NOT suitable for making internet posts. I also have to adjust my bedtime, so it’ll likely be ALL taken up by sleep, dinner, and breakfast. This, is why I, and every other teenage content creator in the state, must
resign from Simpleplanes.
It’s been a honor serving and being served by the community, for the community, but we are forced by the legislature to practically cease operations until the year ends. I MIGHT post during winter break, and other days off. Weekends are out of the question, as my other platform’s need attentions as well. I also will not be able to comment or upvote during the aforementioned times.
ALSO: this may be used as a Chatroom, primarily for people outside of the state and/or of adult age. Until next Wednesday, THIS is your window to chat with me, ask for advice, or just make comments or even upvote me, and will be closed/forgotten after next Wednesday.
Cya later, NTH.
I don’t, am I am 15.
@NTH only in ohio
@NTH I see
@Graingy no, 6th largest/best DISTRICT in the state, in the LARGEST city in the state.
@NTH Sixth largest city in a state?
@Graingy Ehh, it depends on what aspect. For me, it’s internet connection cuz it’s a Acer. Everything else is fast tho, really smooth. This may be because I have a good district with like a fifth of a major metropolitan area and sixth largest in the state. As a matter of fact, I got to go to DC with my middle school and had a wreath placed at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.
@NTH I see, one of those schools. I’ve heard Chromebooks are terrible, is that true?
@Graingy Nope, i have a school-issued Chromebook and calculators, that’s it for electronic devices. AND they might have most sites blocked during the day so… pray they don’t do that to SP.
@NTH Good thing literally every single staff member still has either a phone or a radio in case of emergencies.
What, do you not have a laptop or anything?
@HuskyDynamics01 Ha! I was really in it for playing AMONGUS during my lunch, but now they had to throw that out the window too. Not even emergencies constitute phone use here.
kids at school actually having to pay attention and interact with their teachers and each other instead of staring at their magic light bricks all day? truly tragic...
